The prettiest church in Venice. Tucked away on the edge of a
canal. The late Quattrocento façade by Pietro Lombardo is encrusted
with coloured marbles, an example of the enduring influence of
the world of Byzantium. The church is the most popular venue
for a Venetian wedding and is often filled with flowers.
