The best of several Peruginos still remaining in
his home town hangs in this little Oratorio. The Adoration of
the Magi, painted in 1504, is one of his masterpieces. The ease
with which Perugino composes the group of figures and integrates
them into the soft Umbrian landscape, is particularly impressive.
The sleepy town, built in a mellow red brick, has a lot of charm.
Enjoy the view over the extensive Val di Chiana towards Tuscany.
