This little Romanesque church is set back in a delightful courtyard
lined with cypresses. Signorelli's Entombment, painted on a processional
panel over the altar (make sure you see the Madonna and Child
on the back), is a work of very strong emotion. A Madonna and
Saints, a lesser work by Signorelli, is just to the left of the
main door. From the church it is a short but steep walk to the
summit of the town, with superlative views.
