Villa Spalletti Trivelli

This magnificent 20th century ‘urban villa’ is tucked away just off the grand Piazza Quirinale, overlooking the presidential palace, and just a short walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Forum. An image of nobility, discretion, style, and attention to detail are the hallmarks of the Villa, and it is the obvious choice for those seeking a secluded get away in one of the more peaceful areas of Rome.

The entrance to Villa Spalletti Trivelli is so discreet that one would never realise it was a hotel from the outside.  The minute you step inside, you feel as though you have entered a distinguished private home where past and present combine, whilst also receiving the same impeccable service and modern comforts that one would expect from a five star hotel.  The general ambience is sober, aristocratic elegance, combined with understated opulence.

The 12 luxury bedrooms and suites overlook peaceful Italian gardens, and all successfully maintain their original 20th century splendour.  The main features include rich and vibrantly coloured brocades, antique furniture from the Spalletti Trivelli family’s private collection, and a wonderful range of antique drawings, maps, portraits, and old prints. The enormous beds are particularly inviting with embroidered bed linen and cashmere throws, whilst the marble bathrooms are equally alluring and come equipped with a gorgeous selection of organic beauty products.

The four stately reception rooms are the perfect place to relax and unwind after a tiring day of sight seeing.  The Biblioteca della Villa features magnificent wood paneling that preserve the valuable and ancient book collection of Count Spalletti Trivelli.  An honesty bar in the Sala del Arazzi is at guests’ disposal, whilst the Sala del Camino is reserved for afternoon tea.  Breakfast takes place either in the Sala da Pranzo, or during the summer months on the lovely terrace shaded by delightful gazebos, and dinner is served in the dining room on request.

The hotel also boasts a wellness centre and gym, where one can enjoy the benefits of a Turkish bath and Hamman, as well as a wide range of therapies.

In Rome there is nothing to rival this fabulous residence, and the high level of privacy along with a personalized service gives it a feeling of refined exclusivity that is bound to impress.
