Our party planning service offers everything from sending out the invitations to arranging the last water taxi home in Venice. We pride ourselves on our discretion, attention to detail and an impeccable service from beginning to end. Some of our most spectacular events to date include:
- A surprise 50th birthday in Venice. Guests were flown out on a private plane for a weekend of festivities which included: A private visit and organ recital in St Mark’s Basilica, a treasure hunt by boat followed by lunch in one of the most spectacular rose-filled gardens on the Grand Canal, and the Grand Finale - a dance on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore which was exclusively closed for the night. Entertainers were flown in from the UK, the finest chefs from Tuscany produced a gastronomic feast and a night club was created in the monastery’s refectory.
- A 60th birthday party for a small group of friends in Rome. The evening began with a private visit to the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums followed by dinner in the loggia of the Borghese Gallery surrounded by Bernini’s world famous sculptures. An international soprano was flown in to entertain guests with the host’s favourite arias.
- A week exploring Sicily and its Palaces. The week included private visits and dinners at some of the most beautiful and fascinating palaces on the island which are still in private hands. The intoxicating charm of the hidden side of Sicily can only really be understood from behind doors which remain firmly closed to the outside world.
- The Palio of Siena. Guests enjoyed this exciting horse race from the comforts of the most beautiful palace in the Campo owned by the head of the Goose contrada. With windows overlooking the start/finish line there is no finer view point in the square. The evening before, they joined the locals at their contrada dinner in one of Siena’s prettiest squares. This is fun and informal and offers a fascinating insight into how the Sienese passionately celebrate this medieval festival.
- A gastronomic weekend in Piedmont. Having spent a successful morning with a Truffle Hunter and his hound, clients then visited the annual White Truffle Festival in Alba. Private visits to some of northern Italy’s top wine producers were then followed by a gourmet dinner where guests feasted on the truffles they had found that morning.
