Carnival time: Hotel Cipriani, Venice
The sublime long weekend: Venice never fails to thrill. It is glamour
and art and food and Bellinis. David Furnish threw a bash for Elton John
in the newly acquired Granaries at the Cipriani. The cool deal would
be to combine the party with a visit to La Fenice for a private performance,
followed by dinner at a palazzo on the Grand Canal. Emily FitzRoy at
Bellini Travel and Riccardo Lanza can arrange all this, plus lunch in
the traditional fisherman's restaurants and dinner at Harry's Bar.
