Sexual renaissance. Just 20 individually designed rooms here, flickering
with candies and full of the scent of lilies and roses. The style is
traditional meets modernist. This is your dream townhouse, if only you
were rich enough to live in Jo Malone. But you won't feel messy if you
happen to be over seven stone: J K Place is humanised by the staff and
terrific service that is never pompous. You can help yourself to wicked
cakes; breakfast is at one big table with other beautiful people. Or
in bed. You really feel that nothing is too much trouble, and the location
is so good. J K Place feels like a house, not a hotel: it has a library,
and etchings propped against the wall. So cosy. Go before everyone
else discovers it can be their house, too. Eat at Finisterrae just off
Piazza
Santa Croce - it's beautifully done and has an interior courtyard.
