Situated in a lovely position overlooking the gently rolling hills of northern Piedmont and the medieval town of Moncalvo, this former monastery has been transformed into the most deluxe hotel in the region and, whilst not being able to rival the luxury hotels of Tuscany and Umbria, it provides a very comfortable base from which to explore the area and visit the truffle markets. The rooms are individually designed, with terracotta tiled floors and original antiques.

There is a large swimming pool overlooking the surrounding vineyards and the restaurant is one of the most highly acclaimed in the area.
