Guests come and go as they please but if they are in need of inspiration the Norton’s are always on hand to suggest excellent local restaurants, many different wine-tastings, horse-riding and more.

Bedrooms are very comfortable and not over-decorated, simple white walls compliment single, well-chosen antiques. Big baths, immaculate Frette linen and the silence of the countryside combine to make sure you wake refreshed and revived every morning. Days pass gently and one can do as little, or as much, as one likes. Breakfast is a simple buffet with delicious local cheeses, prosciutto. After a leisurely start, the day is yours to just relax by the pool or explore the vineyard and woods that cover the rolling hills that surround this hotel or visit the fascinating towns of the area, in which there are always festas and markets (there is a nearby antiques market on the third Sunday of every month). There is no restaurant at the hotel but with so much on offer locally it is never a problem to visit one of the many charming eateries nearby.

This area of Italy is an undiscovered gem where all of the best features of Italy remain, unsullied by the tourist hoards. La Villa Hotel may be in its early days, but the Norton’s always go that extra mile to ensure that you are having the best possible stay. This hotel is the perfect place to go and relax and simply enjoy the good things in life.
