Dating back to the early 19th century, Villa le Scale is one of the few Caprian villas of the era still intact. Each of the 6 elegant suites is named after famous guests who have stayed there over the centuries. All are furnished with beautiful pieces of antique furniture including Turkoman fireplaces, Murano chandeliers and table ornaments commissioned by 19th century Maharajas. Bathrooms feature everything from Turkish baths to plunge pools, and in the garden suite a free standing bath cut from a single block of stone. Many of the rooms have vine covered terraces with wonderful views overlooking the sea or crystal blue swimming pool.
