A truly special hotel and just as fabulous as its sister hotel J.K. Place in Florence which we've adored for years. Having only opened a few months ago, J.K. Capri is our firm favourite on the emerald island.
Unlike other hotels on the island, J.K. Capri is located in a unique location on a cliff overlooking the Marina Grande, with direct access to a beach and stunning views of the Mediterranean and Amalfi coastline. Its quiet location out of town means that you can escape the hoards of day trippers during the day, yet just a short drive away in the hotel golf buggy is the achingly chic Piazzetta with its designer boutiques and cafes, perfect for people watching.
The owner Ori Kafri has cleverly brought the comfort and style of his Florentine hotel to Capri, whilst at the same time creating a very new character that reflects the hotels surroundings. The 22 spacious rooms are all individually furnished, and many have private terraces or balconies overlooking the sea. Bathrooms are wildly luxurious with huge marble baths and showers, and the hotel’s own fantastic range of beauty products.
The hotel’s vast swimming pool is reminiscent of a South Beach pool party; at one end a mirrored building hides the hotel spa (Espa) and gym, whilst at the other end there is a fine bar and restaurant where traditional Mediterranean cuisine is served on the large panoramic terrace with stunning sea views. If outsiders were allowed, this would be the hippest scene on the island.
The luxurious setting and accommodation are only surpassed by the exceptionally high quality of service, overseen by the brilliant Manager Verena, and staff will go out of their way to ensure guests are happy.
This is one hotel we implore our clients to book now before it sells out for the next five summers.
